Description: 

This class focuses on advanced administration of the Oracle10g Application Server (10gAS). Administration I. Topics include high availability, Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, clustering architecture, failover, failure detection, scaleability, performance tuning, monitoring, the Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Single Sign-On (SSO), backup and recovery, configuring Server Clusters, OC4J load balancing, OC4J failover, the deployment of Web Services, Discoverer, Forms, Reports and XML applications. An emphasis is placed on best practices.
