At the end of this course, the student will be able to: - Explain the basic elements of the application server computing model
- Respond correctly when quizzed on terminology
- Distinguish a Published Desktop from a Published Application
- Distinguish a local drive from a remapped server drive within a session
- Name the elements of the Citrix network and explain their relationship:
- the MetaFrame server, the NFuse/Web interface server, the Citrix Secure Gateway and the ICA client
- Install and uninstall the ICA client correctly and completely
- Distinguish between a correctly and incorrectly configured ICA file
- Verbally walk through troubleshooting a Citrix-related problem with an application
- Verbally walk through troubleshooting a Citrix-related problem with a printer
- Install the Citrix Management Console correctly
- Locate relevant tools in the Citrix Management Console
- Document a problem to pass to the Citrix Administrator
- Use relevant tools to investigate and solve a problem
