The purpose of this course is to provide an in-depth look at the FileNet Image Services (IS) architecture, services, processes and hardware components. In addition, it looks at how configurations impact performance. This course is a prerequisite to an advanced course (F1350) where you will learn how to install, configure and troubleshoot FileNet Image Services systems.

Note: When registering for this course, please inform the registrar of your system platform (AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Windows).

Audience 

This is an intermediate course for experienced Image Services Support administrators who are responsible for supporting IS systems. You will have a minimum of six months' experience supporting an IS system.

Prerequisites 

It is critical that you have the following experience to receive maximum benefit from this course:

• IBM FileNet IS System Administration (F4580)  
• Mandatory UNIX operating system knowledge (UNIX platforms) Mandatory Windows knowledge
