Description

This course builds on the skills and concepts taught in Word 2010: Intermediate. Students will perform mail merges, create and use forms, and create master documents that include a table of contents, a table of figures, footnotes, endnotes, an index, bookmarks, cross-references, and Web frames. They will also create macros, customize the ribbon and Quick Access toolbar, and work with XML documents. Course manual comes with CertBlaster exam prep software (download).

This course will help students prepare for the Microsoft Office Specialist core-level exam for Word 2010 (exam 77-881) and the Microsoft Office Specialist Expert exam for Word 2010 (exam 77-887). For comprehensive certification training, students should complete the Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced courses for Word 2010

Prerequisites

Students should be able to use Microsoft Office Word 2010 to create, edit, format, save, and print business documents that contain text, tables, and graphics. Students should also be able to use a web browser and an email program. In order to understand how Word interacts with other applications in the Microsoft Office System, students should have a basic understanding of how worksheets and presentations work. To ensure your success, you need to first take the following courses or have equivalent knowledge:
