This course teaches attendees how to use Tableau to quickly and comprehensively analyze and present data. Participants learn analytical techniques, best practices, and how to create visualizations and calculations ranging from simple to complex, and then combine these into dashboards that yield meaningful insights.

Fifty percent of this Tableau training course is hands-on lab exercises. It teaches you how to implement data visualization techniques and practices to achieve better visualization, connecting to different data sources, creating dashboards and successful project deployments.

This three-day, instructor-led training course will teach the fundamental concepts, how to prepare and import data into Tableau, create dashboards, explain the relationship between data analytics and data visualization for successful implementation, and more.     •  If you have a Tableau Viewer license you will learn a lot, but that license tier may not allow you to complete all of the lab exercises

  • For classes delivered online, all participants need either dual monitors or a separate device logged into the online session so that they can do their work on one screen and watch the instructor on the other. A separate computer connected to a projector or large screen TV would be another way for students to see the instructor's screen simultaneously with working on their own.
