Eagan, MN, ----- 2022 marks the Silver Anniversary of Knowledge Transfer. In September of 1997, Gary and Sarah Gwaltney launched an IT training consulting practice under the name of Knowledge Transfer Consulting Services.  Over these past 25 years, Knowledge Transfer has managed training projects spanning across North America, Europe, and Asia. When Knowledge Transfer was founded, there were fourteen private Microsoft certified technical training centers based in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Today, Knowledge Transfer remains the oldest, independent owned and operated Microsoft instructor led training center in Minnesota.

The lessons we have learned in the past 25 years come down to dream big and be flexible! We had big dreams when we began. We made those dreams come true by allowing our customers to be part of the solution and the development of what the industry needed next. Along our journey, we continued to do things that our competition did not want to do or saw as too small. What we have achieved is far beyond the wildest dreams we had at the start of this journey. We have learned to let our passion and perseverance be our power. We have had to show resilience, learn from our mistakes, and get back up when we got knocked down.

To our employees:  We are grateful for the opportunity to work with so many of our family and friends over the years.  Having the opportunity to work with such talented, dedicated and kind people every day has made all the difference. Your commitment to put our customers first has been integral to Knowledge Transfer’s progress and success.

To our customers: Thank you for trusting us for all these many years and being patient with us as we figure out new ways to provide quality training. We are honored to have your trust and will work tirelessly to continue to deserve it.

To our partners: To be in business for 25 years, we recognize the importance of establishing collaborative partnerships that bring extraordinary value to both Knowledge Transfer and our customers. We thank our partners for their commitment, expertise and skills in helping us serve our enterprise and government customers around the world.

The journey has not always been easy. It takes courage, passion, boldness and perseverance. As we celebrate our Silver Anniversary, we toast our employees, customers and partners who have helped us reimagine the way training is delivered.  Let us continue to shape the future together.
